I’m not sure how well It Follows did, but it is really good. The take on the entity that cannot be stopped is unique and as presented in that world very plausible. Have to see it if people haven’t. And on the strength of that I’m interested in UTSL even though it’s a different genre.

The X-Men movies are starting to be like the orginal Star Trek movies where every other one was good.

The puppies are going to have a stroke.

Shane Black worked on the original Predator in 1987. Call me OCD’d, but I like it when things go full circle :D

The only Arthur movie that matters.

Said it before, and saying it again... any of these people

He was actually pretty good in Ghostbusters.

I just kept hearing Hugh Laurie’s House MD :/

As always, I mention the first Black Widow movie:

I was prepared to quibble with Constantine’s relatively low rating, but everything above it I either haven’t seen (and therefore cannot judge) or am forced to admit is reasonably positioned. Still, Constantine gets a bad rap. If you mentally divorce it from its eponymous supposed source material, you get a pretty good

Ironically, the Doctor is now played by a True Scotsman.

It’s probably a good thing that my expectations for Doctor Who are at an all time low. It’ll be very hard for this episode not to exceed them.

Yes. As awful as this looks, no one deserves to be trapped forever on the event horizon of an ego of that magnitude.

That would be hilarious if Lynch took all Showtime’s money and just turned in footage of the cast quietly eating donuts, pie, and drinking coffee while sad strains of Angelo Badalamenti played behind them.

To this day I watch the show for Enzo and little else...yeah they’ve squandered him a bit but still he’s basically like a Cousin Oliver character if that kid had been played by someone super attractive and really talented.

One of my biggest disappointments in the Vampire Diaries run was the point where Caroline chose to turn off her humanity switch instead of “dealing” with her pain over the loss of her mother. I think at that point that arch had been done, and it would have been a breath of fresh air to see a vampire deal with the
