This little fella needs a forever home.

It’s baffling to me. I have 4 vehicles, no car payments, and they aren’t worth $70 together. We have lots of friends that buy these cars and my wife and I can’t understand it. We can’t imagine being underneath one or two of those car payments every month. For what?

The display for the poll is funky today, no percentages, and the bar for the nice price is low, the one for crack pipe goes to the edge of my screen and seemingly stretches off into infinity. On second thought the display is working just fine.

You can find Smart ED’s for under $6k that are 5 years old or less. Plenty of parts available.

The Suburban Starts at $51K. The Escalade ESV starts at $78K

Take every expression of the word no ever uttered in every language on earth, including long lost tongues, and apply it to this car. That is how CP it is, even if just for it’s looks, which are so bland it’s ugly.

Good Christ no. I wouldn’t buy some rando Chinese electric sedan with an unknown pseudonym and no parts network for $5 let alone $5K.

I live in Killeen and you can still get a decent house for 80. Mine was 73.

I have lived my whole professional life in San Jose and Irvine in some of the most expensive housing markets in the country. I’m also from the Midwest, though, and there are still plenty of nice starter suburban areas with homes in the $100k range. They’re generally going to be about 40-60 minutes from large urban

Same here, last new car we bought wasa Honda Fit for $15 grand and change in 2006. The thing that blows me away is many people buying these $60,000 plus cars probably don’t make much more than that every year. Sure you can swing the payments, but a lot of money to spend on a rapidly depreciating asset.

We bought ours near Watkins Glen, 3 bed 1.5 bath newly renovated on 5 acres for just over 100k.

Status and no comprehension of money management.

This is what irks me... even mainstream-badged SUVs and pickups easily crest into the $50-70k+ pricerange these days. That kind of “every day” purchase price for a “family” vehicle is completely unsustainable, economically.

There is nothing frugal about buying a 2020 Escalade at any price. My god, I can’t understand paying these kinds of prices for a new vehicle.

You know I love you!

“Who’s Johnny?” she said.

Pity that influential dude didn’t visit Lexus 10 years ago.

You’re too poor to understand, probably

TBH aren’t all Bugatti’s ugly?
