Pre-ordered, along with Xenoblade. Very very excited to play these games, so very happy they were brought to North America. I want to thank those who raised their voice (Operation Rainfall), I have a feeling you guys made this happen, awesomeness and thank you.

Well stated, it's just not SSX. I threw SSX 3 into my Wii last night, I had to see if I was remembering things wrong. Nope, SSX 3 was a great game, making me dislike this one even more. Quickest trade ever for me :(

Words can not express now non-SSX this SSX game is, my personal review aligns most with Joystiq and/or more closely aligns to GameInformer's. Biggest disappointment in gaming for me in the last 2 years.

Agreed.

So I poured 4 more hours into SSX last night, and while some of my views have changed, I've come to the conclusion that my original assessment stands. I hate this game.

Yes, the instinct to use the old controls may be most of my problem. I'm hardwired to play the old way, maybe once the new controls become ingrained the game will open up for me. I do want to use the new controls thou, so I'm not even trying classic.

So, the jury is still out, I found this post ([www.gamesradar.com]) that makes me hold on to hope that the game simply needs getting used to.

Ok, so this post gives me a little hope, they open with a sediment that echoed loudly last night as I was trying to play the game: [www.gamesradar.com]

I want to talk about SSX...

Thanks!

Yep, never played that. What platform? (don't laugh)

Hmmm I just might, thanks for validating my idea :)

Oh interesting, so what 'low' scored games recently have you found enjoyable? Curiosity.

With the constant inflow of games, my backlog growing larger, and the diversity of games and their perceived quality I've been thinking, I spend to much money on games and have been getting burnt lately buying things that maybe have a meta score of 90, when in fact it was the small 10% that was actually more like

Funny story about 'credit'. So I picked up Rayman Origins for 360, I brought it to a friends house (cuz he's allergic to my cat) to play coop there. I downloaded my account for Live, with both of us signed in we booted up a coop game... later that week, from the comfort of my couch I come to realize the achievements

SC II can busy you for hundreds of hours, say goodbye to getting anywhere near your backlog if you get hooked ;)

What about Diablo 3? Fair chance that hits this year, and I see you mentioned Torchlight 2 (which I'm super excited to get my paws on).

Best of luck to you!

300!!! That's your backlog? I think your goal may not be S.M.A.R.T, I'm looking at the A most of all. WOW.
