I have multiple people at my office telling me to watch this show, but I can’t bring myself to do it.

I think it depends on your office. If taking the day off in solidary with women will make more of an impact, then do it. If working that day will allow other women to participate in the strike and not have to worry about minimum coverage, then do that.

I’m a centrist, but wherever the left ends up, I hope they end up somewhere and not nowhere.

I’m curious to see how successful this will be. It’s a good chance for everyone to follow up words with action, though I know there are many people who can’t afford even one day off.
