Wouldn't this be different in a car such as the GLI with FWD? It's not relying on rear tire grip nearly as much as a RWD vehicle. You can't feather the throttle to get rear wheel traction back, but it seems like you could just put your foot on the gas to "pull" the rear wheels back somehow. Or maybe you're just

This is true only in the case of a manual transmission correct? Since doing this could cause the wheels to slip when the engine starts to "hold back (whatever the technical term is)," which wouldn't happen in an automatic. Or is this completely wrong?

"I mean I get what you're saying..."

Very true. Because who is paying those medical bills for the rest of their life?

You make a very good point. But sometimes when an accident happens it's not necessarily clear who's fault it is. It can't always be that cut and dry can it? I'm sure there are accidents (especially ones caused by poor weather/road conditions) where even when you are careful the car can lose control; or those where

My new 2013 GLI has a key and no push button start. Why do I need the nav package just to have push button start!? Dammit....

It almost doesn't seem fair. What's to stop rich people from encrusting their cars in gold and diamonds. "Oh, you scratched my bumper. That'll be $500,000 for a repair. Hope you can cover that." It seems that if they are going to purchase and drive around a ludicrously priced car, they should be somewhat liable on

I always wondered about that. If I, as a mid-class citizen, hit a Ferrari or other expensive/exotic sports car, would my GEICO insurance policy cover that? Would I be left to fend for myself? Would my premiums triple or quadruple or worse? As the owner of such a car, does he/she accept the fact that if it gets into an

I thought driving without power steering was almost impossible. I had my power steering cut out on me while driving once and it was possible to steer, but highly unpleasant. Is having power steering cut off on you and manual steering two completely different things?

The Z/28 doesn't even get HID's or LED taillights? You think for the top of the line it would.

Where is this bridge? I know it's in Durham, but I've never seen it. If only I could read those street signs.

The Overly Eager Pull-Overer

All thanks to the new CEO Johan De Nysschen, the former president of Audi, who gave Audi its current naming scheme.

I would be completely okay with this. Watching the show Arrow has really gotten me interested in the hero.

I just checked this here in North Carolina, because I have been wanting to get mine flashed for some time. The only warranty it invalidates is the warranty on the ECU chip itself. Nothing else.

I'm surprise no one has made mention of Raleigh, NC. The schools get canceled around here for fear of snow. If the meteorologists predict it, schools are closed/delayed the next day. If there are any flurries and the snow actually sticks, schools are canceled and work is delayed. I remember one year, not too long ago

Are the sticks better? They look shorter and stubbier; more like the Xbox 360 controller sticks, which I don't really like. I liked the taller sticks on the PS3 controller that gave them a little more sensitivity and a little smoother movement. I am liking that groove on the surface on the PS4 sticks, though.

Really? I'm in Austin, Texas right now and on the 60 MPH highways here (route 290 and highway 35 to be exact) everyone does 50-55 while I'm content doing 70-75. I'm starting to wonder what's wrong with them.
