Awful. (And as with everyone else, that's for the Gawker overlords, not the io9 folks.) They want MORE people to desert the site than did the last time? Just beyond bizarre.

I kind of hated the announcers, myself.
I didn't really mean for that to sound dickish; of all the things you mentioned (including the cat!) this one seems the most reasonable by the filmmakers to me, personally. (I probably should have written it like that originally.)
The girl about to kill Katniss gives a whole speech about how "we killed your little friend" that seemed to really set up Thresh hearing about it and simply taking for granted it was a smallish alliance between Rue and Katniss, which the attacker also implied. That scene didn't seem so out of the ordinary to me.
"Speaking of the magical night of lamb stew, what happened to all the cave scenes? While battling it out inside the games, Katniss finds Peeta slowly bleeding to death in the river. She drags him into this cave where they spend a few nights watching Peeta's infection grow. All of that is in the movie, but it's trimmed…
I've been a little concerned with what I've seen in these Prometheus trailers in regards to Prometheus itself. Have they simply already given away a suicide run by Prometheus in the trailers? That's somewhat lame, I think, shouldn't that be a bit more of a big moment rather than a TV spot moment?
I strongly disagree. I've been watching for a long time, and I will keep watching. I AM a fan, and if I'm not satisfied with the direction Moffat's been going it is not without valid reasons. I refuse to shut up because I don't agree with you.
Disliking Tron was about as difficult as falling off a log.
Whoops, thought I was. Got my replies confused.
That beer tastes good?
"That's the thing. I'm not that into space-centered science fiction."
OK I'll be the one to say it:
Jericho was no Jeremiah.
yep
I need to tag this as a correction, because the Operative (to be literary) was actually Rime-slapped, not Rhyme-slapped. It's not really shown as Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner anywhere, ever.
-APPLAUSE-
I was shocked beyond belief how tiresome I found that book. How something so in my wheelhouse could be such a trial is bewildering.
The Blind Assassin is brilliant. If you haven't read it, I suggest starting tomorrow.
"Despite Adams' passing in 2001, the franchise continues to grow, with Eoin Colfer having written a sixth book."
I hate the idea of more BSG prequels, but I hate agreeing with SyFarty even more.
