Chekov’s insult comedy.

It's animated and doesn't take after the DCEU other than Harley's hairstyle, so it doesn't count.

The Snyder cult got so pissed off at the joke that they even went after Doom Patrol, convinced that their “On my planet, Cyborg means fish fucker” joke was aimed directly at Ray Fisher, with the more stupider people convinced it was in Peacemaker instead.

I thought it was funny. And it indirectly addressed them not showing up to fight Starro in TSS.

Batman wasn’t there because the Batmobile got a flat tire.

I am happy to accept Superman’s poop fetish as canon. I mean, he has sex with humans, who are a different species. Of COURSE he’s into some freaky shit. If Martha knew only the half of it, she would be so ashamed…

It feels weird to say, but I do kinda like it when the multinational global corporate entities can be cool with each other from time to time, trading favors for low-impact stuff like this.

I guess they don’t like the Harley Quinn animated series either?

Or actual literacy.

First, while I realize it will never happen, I so desperately want to see a fight with this Peacemaker and Batman. While the fight itself would be short, brutal and utterly one-sided, just imagining the amount of trash talk from Peacemaker before it starts and him having to deal with the following humilation makes me

And he never paid for drugs. Not once!

How the fuck did this drawing alone make me tear up!

In local elections, maybe. The Reedy Creek Improvement District (Disney property in Florida) is a weird place where normal local services are provided by Disney. He wasn’t going to create his own state or country so they would still vote in major elections.

Have we learned nothing from the horrors of Celebration, Florida?

That’s not the story Budiansky has told over the years re: Megatron.

i love you for bringing up the topsy-turvy rights and shit of Marvel TF comics/Death’s Head.

Man, I remember Death’s Head! Tried real hard to get into all those UK books Marvel pushed in the early 90s (Death’s Head, Motormouth, Knights of Pendragon) but I could never get into them, and that page with The Doctor kind of explains why. Just not much for a 13-14 year old kid from Nashville to latch onto.

Yes. The name Megatron was originally coined for a character in a comic book based on Mattel’s Shogun Warriors toy line and when Hasbro tasked Marvel with coming up with the Transformers mythos, they just recycled it. Weirdly, even though they’re engaged in an ongoing partnership, there were rumblings a few years back

Something about the delivery of “his scams, his many dangerous scams” always lodges itself in my brain.

It’s an oversimplification of events, but yes.
