The Lee thing was literally him quoting an author he had read recently only wrong.  He even called out the author by name.  Except when you go read the author’s biography of the era, he says basically the opposite.  So if he knows more about Lee’s treatment of stuntmen in the era he’s got a real weird way of saying so.
