Just like Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing Missouri, I think there will be enough controversy around this movie that it won’t win Best Picture or any of the major awards. Even Ali is somewhat distancing himself from it a bit...he may not bother with the usual campaigning / media routine that precedes the Oscars

I actually liked Star Trek V. Had absolutely no idea a long time that people regarded it as a bad movie. The ‘’Why does God need a spaceship?’’ climax was well done, IMHO.

Honestly V is better then half of the TNG movies as well. Insurrection is just a glorified two part episode(and not a good one). And Nemesis is just badly written and unwatchable. Also killed the even number treks don’t suck streak

I don’t understand what you mean about it taking place in Kirk’s head. That Kirk dreamed it all while they were out camping?

I’m certain there’s a good movie hiding in among the pieces of Star Trek V. Small Praise: it is at least without question a better story than the previous time they had been coerced into going

Maybe he can buy everyone fake IDs and call the health inspector because he never got to do that scheme

I’m trying to complete every question mark point in AC: Origins and I should be able to pull it off. But I tried that in The Witcher 3 and had to give it up. I’m not that much of a completionist.

I’m working through Origins right now. It’s pretty great. Going to tackle RDR 2 when I finish, but I want to work in a short game in between them. Stacking two huge open world games back to back is overwhelming even though I love that style of game.

The Kree Empire collapses and then builds itself up again every so often. It stands that the Skrull Empire does the same thing.

I actually finished RDR2 and I went back and started from a previous save.  I love the world so much.  Nothing like blowing up a bunch of klan members.

The prequels are still canon no matter how bad they are, so yeah. It’s a valid point.

Screw that. If it’s bad, I’m calling it bad. I took my kid to see the friggin’ Emoji movie because he had a good report card and that’s what he wanted to see.  And even he hated it.

This guy’s never seen Manos: The Hands of Fate.

I’m one of those completionists and I had to quit Red Dead Redemption shortly after I got access to the open world. I knew that if I kept going even another hour I’d be too far in to quit and the end result would likely be my marriage falling apart lol

I would be happy to finish Red Dead 2 at this point. I enjoy it when I am actually playing it but l seem to have a hard time motivating myself to play.

Luckily with a lot of those games, you get to define your own “finish”. Unless you’re a completionist. Then god help your soul.

Pretty sure I own the first one. It’s just that whenever I think about watching it I’m like, can I be bothered to sit through over 3 hours of this?

Now playing

I’ll try and start a Youtube career in video essaying.

“That seems extremely unlikely.”

Jesus Christ your defense of TLJ is THE PREQUELS?

Oh come on - Star Wars does things because it looks “Cool” and not because it is meant to be utilitarian. Case in point - AT-AT’s.
