Honestly the whole Electro being a huge Spider-Man fan in ASM 2 didn’t work at all it went from being a Spider-Man fan to an unhealthy parasocial relationship that was cringe-inducing to sit through.

To be fair, they changed the name of the previous arc since “Mugen” just means “Infinity” and I assume English distributors didn’t want “Demon Slayer: Infinity Train” to be confused with the Cartoon Network sci-fi anthology show Infinity Train.
