“Since I saw... THE TIME KNIFE."

I thought the 2016 coup was about trying to get Sid Onion released

The idea that an undefeated Notre Dame *didn’t* deserve a title shot while an undefeated UCF *does* deserve a title shot is ridiculous.

They of course *both* deserved a title shot.

Yeah, nobody deserves redemption. Redemption is earned, and hasn’t done jack shit to earn it.

So I guess Alabama were frauds, too.

They should put a sign outside telling Elizabeth Dragon where to line up for the pho:

    “Elizabeth Dragon: Pho Queue.”

The $300 million offer had no opt outs.

I expect that this will be *effectively* what he does - signing a 10 year deal with an opt-out that he will absolutely exercise.  The contract will likely be frontloaded to lower the team’s luxury tax obligation.

There are only 30 MLB owners who can afford to make a $300 million commitment to Bryce Harper.

Or, you know, Harper’s keeping the number to himself because he’s acting rationally as the person with the negotiating leverage.

Why don’t you tell your employer the absolute minimum for which you will work so that they can pay you that and not a penny more?

I suspect that the Yankees would much rather have Machado at 3B, where his glove is a massive improvement over Andujar’s. Then they can look to put together a trade for more pitching with Andujar as a centerpiece, or see if Andujar can learn to play 1B and compete with Voit and Bird for playing time.

Yes, cold brew isn’t about making iced coffee, it’s about brewing the coffee in a way that results in a less acidic brew.

That means your total income tax is 8.8677%. If the 22% rate was 12%, you’d pay... 8.81% of your income in taxes.  It’s a difference of 30 dollars.
