To quote Civil War historian and Licensed Battlefield Guide Tim Smith, here is an update on the ghosts of Gettysburg:

There are still no ghosts in Gettysburg.

They say love makes you crazy, therefore you can’t call her crazy, ‘cause when you call her crazy you’re just calling her in love.

    BLAM.

Not PBS, the week before Lin, Leslie and Pippa left, they brought in cameras to record a few of the shows, and Groff took a break from filming his current TV show to Reprise King George. Lin said they don’t know when it will be released, but it won’t be for a while - but it WILL happen.

Yeah, Lincoln won the popular vote, but the Democrats held more seats in the legislature and appointed Douglas. More importantly, at Freeport, Lincoln successfully torpedoed Douglas’ chance to win the Presidency in 1860, leading to the split in the Democratic Party that year and ensuring a Republican President -

And don’t get me started on how much it cost to preserve the “Star Spangled Banner”. They could have just bought a new flag at Wal-Mart.

Stupid thing doesn’t even have the right number of stars and stripes.

I don’t know about you, but I read that tweet by NCGOP as sarcastic - Clinton never offered “thoughts and prayers”, but the empty gesture of “thoughts and prayers” was called out by Democrats after mass shootings.

“Hey, at least he was honest with our money! Hey, at least he was honest with our... what’s that? Oh. Never mind.”

Forget Ohio - almost every poll shows Clinton leading in Florida and Pennsylvania. If she wins those states, she can lose Ohio, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Carolina, Colorado and Nevada and she still wins.

When Pennsylvania and Florida are called for Clinton, pop the champagne, we’ve got a woman

Because they still don’t get what’s offensive about it. They think it was the language that people are freaking out about.

Trump could have said “I like to kiss touch women in their private places without asking first, they let you do that when you’re famous.” and it would have been equally horrifying.

Actually, it’s much more aggravating when anyone not in NYC, DC or Shanksville, or who suffered a personal loss on that day trying to take ownership of 9/11. Because they saw it on TV.

New Yorkers are generally “over” 9/11, as it were. They were basically over it in October, 2001. Yes, there is still a wound there,

    STFU, Hamilton.

Having talked to female sports reporters, the claim that what Trump said is “locker room talk” is not entirely inaccurate.

    Betting on baseball?

Donald Trump knows that winning a debate is all about the expectations. He’s so committed that he did terribly at the first debate just to lower expectations for the second one.

    92 career OPS+

Corey Seager, Carlos Correa, Francisco Lindor, Brandon Crawford, Addison Russell, Andrelton Simmons, Elvis Andrus, Xander Bogaerts, Troy Tulowitzki, Trevor Story, Marcus Semien, Tim Anderson, Asdrubal Cabrera, Didi Gregorius and Zack Cozart all had more WAR than Hardy this year.

But true, Manny Machado was better than

but did Mike Trout or Mookie Betts move off their normal positions to play top-shelf shortstop for a month and a half when the regular shortstop was injured?

How’d things work out for that next king, anyway? ;-)

Literally every party in Germany was against reparations. Reparations were not why Hitler rose to power.
