LC hides its bad writing and acting by saying it's a homage to blaxploitation films after the fact. That show wasn't very good either, but everyone championed it because of their social agenda.

LC kinda sucked too, bad writing and stilted performances.

Cottonmouth was about 2 decisions away from being Charlie Murphy in CB4. Luke Cage was as big a mess as this, but no one would say it.
