I thought his was the most true to books origin of anyone.

Him blatantly inserting his views into DD and JJ reviews, I'd imagine.

I've read the books and I think the point of this season was for non-readers, sorry you couldn't follow it; most of us thought it was quite good, it really made sense in the end.

I always thought angels were inherently de-sexed, though that blows the Genesis origin out of the water. I just figured they'd been work partners for all eternity and that kind of working relation is pretty great!

Eh, Tom Cruise gives us awesome things. Blow up the Pope and I'm more in than I was before.

They pretty much did, but they also gave us decent characterization in a real world setting, which is something the books failed to do

Don't worry, won't happen in the show.

If a television show can do that to you, you may need to examine the rest of your life.

I think it was exactly as good as it could have been, not just for fans of the comic but for casual viewers that the show desperately needs.

I think that is why Emily gave up the mayor to cassidy out of FWB convenience, if a true innocent(that we know and like) was killed in the blowup it may have been more difficult for some to stomach.

That these Baptist(?) simpletons even acknowledge dinosaurs is more credit than they deserve.

Sharpen your axe bro…

And this is why the show is better than the books and actually got made.

Less used and an amazing song for sure. Better? IIIdunno, Gimme Shelter and Sympathy have been so overdone in media that their awesomeness is grossly underestimated.
Let It Bleed is my second favorite Stones album, so I'm not just disagreeing to disagree.

That was a painful read in the books, but I think Cassidy was a bit more powerful there. I'm super psyched to see what this show does with The Grail.

I was just loving that the simp from You're The Worst got the beating he so richly deserves, even if it's cross-universe.

Why do you have to go and bring up the dearly departed Banshee?
S2 is on Prime now and I've been doing a rewatch.

I thought that was a really odd choice, but it did elicit a chuckle.
having never read the book or seen the movie I wonder if it was an in-joke of some sort.

Even so, we know what happens to things on an anvil, it's not as though the comic was above hamfisted symbolism.

Custer was trying to deny his love for Tulip all season so as he may walk a righteous path, if they were all lovey duvey the whole time what the show is doing wouldn't have worked.
