I don’t really fully believe that rumor about Civil War for 2 reasons:

I don’t even see how they would have incorporated them (without alternate universe shenanigans). Arrow and Flash are clearly set in a world where Superman doesn’t exist, and Supergirl very much takes place in one where he has been a major factor for years.

There’s not going to be DC Cinematic Universe if BvS doesn’t score Avenger’s money and reviews. There isn’t near the buzz for it that Avengers had at the same time before release. Color me cautiously optimistic but there is still a chance for an epic failure and if that happens, we won’t be seeing Wonder Woman or…

Apparently, in their infinite stupidity, the execs have decided to make many characters exclusive to movies and will probably continue to do so.
