2012 was the approximate point of descent. The Sox methodically blew a huge division lead in September by trotting out luminaries like the bloated corpse of Manny Ramirez and the decrepit remains of Kevin Youkilous while Robin Ventura stared listlessly over the horizon and handled his bullpen like a yeti with a Ming

Haha I feel like that 2006 crowd was the most vocal and therefore the most visible. I have a hard time feeling bad for White Sox fans because of this.

How quickly did your fan base go from winning a WS to talking about how painful it is to be a White Sox fan?

This is very true.

Because it’s baseball.

Nah. As White Sox fans, we’re more used to taken for granted (hell, in our own city), so we can take this “publicity” with a good attitude. After all, what other national media is going to write about the Sox on a regular basis?

Jesus H. Christ; fireworks AND the score from “The Natural.” Act like you’ve done this before, Globe Life Ballpark. Or better yet take cues from scrappy, hard-working Busch Stadium which celebrates homers THE RIGHT WAY......

It must suck that the best moments in Rangers’ history were when Nolan Ryan and Odor got into fights.

As a San Diego Charger fan since 1961, I never dreamed my hometown and Oakland would share a common enemy.

This article and the majority of people responding have no clue what they are talking about. I live in Vegas and rarely go to the Strip. The majority of people that live in Vegas have the same lives that everyone else in the country has, except we can find food 24/7.

I think out of towners will be a huge draw for the football team.

According to pretty much every report, Adelson “backed out” when it was clear the deal wouldn’t include a path for him to seize ownership of the team.

If Mark Davis doesn’t want fans to be overwhelmed at the new stadium, he should insist on a simple bowl design.

Does this mean, when the Packers ownership votes were added in, the final tally was 360,789 to 1?

A very good baseball boy.

Tom Hamilton is a gem. I desperately want to hear him call a World Series clincher before his time is through.

I know thats tongue-in-cheek, but Lindor is under team control for 5 more years. The extension would buy-out his arbitration years, plus 2 FA seasons. Its probably going to cost them in the neighborhood of 75m, well worth it even if Lindor simply maintains this level of play (he’ll probably get better).

Why isn’t it April 14 yet? It should be April 14.
