Hitting rocks to get gems to get rupees is not exactly an “amazing” time. I just beat the game yesterday, and it was one of the most satisfying boss battles I’ve ever had the pleasure of engaging with. Duplicating 300 diamonds did not take a damn thing away from my enjoyment.

Distributing?  Kotaku ain’t distributing a damn thing but articles and ads.

Or when he put the key in his ignition. Or when he opened his door to leave. Or when he bought the materials to start the fire. Dude had endless chances to not do this

this may shock and appall but not everyone who writes for kotaku shares the same opinion about everything. the article you mention was in the opinion section even.

That Zelda claim is silly and you know it, but the Street Fighter thing... Yes. The characters are 3D models interacting almost entirely on a 2D plane. What would you propose it be called instead? Like, we designate “2D platformer” and “3D platformer” for a reason. The graphics of Metroid Dread are 3D, but it sure as

It’s called a 2D game because you only move in two dimensions. This is a 2D platformer. Smash Bros is a 2D arena fighter.

It’s not a very good roller coaster if all it is is a constant down slope.

Jesus fucking christ.

I’ve become more and more certain that most of those “gaming sites” are written entirely by AI.

So we’re celebrating that we have a tiny amount of what was promised instead of none of it?  How much is Blizzard paying you to continue giving them good PR?

Man, you had me in the first half. You’re right, this is far from a real consequence. He deserves much more. And you deserve some for posting something this fucking weird.

MEEEEEEEE

No, the impression this article gives is that Luke hasn’t even played the game, he’s just commenting on the reaction to it.  You know, reporting.  How did you get the impression that he’d played it from how this is written?

Oh HELL yeah, Tilt & Tumble.  It’s gonna feel real nice playing that on a Switch.

My family has been doing a monthly wordle competition for the past year.  Started as just me and my parents, now both my sisters and one of their boyfriends are in on it.  My dad tracks everything on an excel sheet.  I don’t need NYT’s little score sheet!

I’m in that exact same boat, but green is a close third to pink.

Again, nobody has said that!! “Widespread issue” does not mean every single one! Even if it’s 10%, that’s a big problem!

Are you able to talk in anything but ultimatiums and extremes?

Nobody’s claiming there’s a “cover-up”. Just because you haven’t personally had a problem with your joycons doesn’t mean the problem doesn’t exist. I didn’t have a problem with any of mine until my pink splatoon 2 one finally started acting up. It’s not just a whiny gamer moment when your character literally starts

I am as big a Nintendo fan as any, but denying that drift is a product issue is really funny to me
