Like a good pokemon fan, I’ll raise my hopes to have them dashed as usual.

Same way any sleep tracker app does. Accelerometers in the phone measure how much you’re moving.

I’m at work so I was only half-paying attention to the stream, what was the suggestion of a Battle Tower? I’d be very happy to have one again (not as happy as I’d be with a Battle Frontier, but I’ll take what I can get)

I was thinking the same thing. Certainly the new Paradox Pokemon aren’t from these new areas, but they aren’t part of the DLC. To name a DLC story centered around leaving the Paldea region after the crater in the center of the Paldea region... I’m just confused by that.

uh, can you expand on what you mean by the games looking “ghetto”

I haven’t read the light novels so I don’t know if that’s the same for the manga adaptations, but at least the story and non-pun based gags in Bakemonogatari are plenty strong enough to hold that series up without losing too much sleep over missing out on puns.

Now playing

So, not the startup sound, just the “chug” that played on PS1 and PS2 ads when the logo showed up?

It’s not.

woooo, look at me, I’m going insane, flying way off the handle saying things like “I disagree”.

yeah dude go off everyone is very jealous of all the low-poly rotating cats in your house

And it’s probably the three hundredth time I’ve seen it.  Mostly on discord.

this is probably the single weirdest flex I have ever seen on kotaku dot com

Because it’d be super weird for a very successful writer (Nisio Isin) and an artist on his first serialization (Iwasaki Yuuji) to set out with the specific goal of making a manga that can’t achieve worldwide success? It’s an unfortunate side effect of the story they created, not a goal.

people disagreeing with you is not the same thing as people being pissed at you or caning you.  not that deep my dude you just said some inaccurate shit and people responded

Not a chance. It’s literally a manga about decoding and solving puzzles. When the puzzles are language-based, as many of them are, they become difficult or even impossible to translate, let alone localize. I promise you, the writer (singular, not writers) is spending his time thinking up compelling puzzles as well as

Yeah, they’ve only been programming on Nintendo’s underpowered and outdated handhelds for 25 years.  It’s just growing pains.

I wish I could un-remember SAO.

Was the season and a half of 7/10 something other than the first?  Because I’d be generous to give what I watched a 4/10

I did read the whole thing but I’m still not getting it, but it looks like you don’t actually think SAO should be here so we’re good hahaha

You lost me at being confused about why SAO isn’t here. You know this is a top 30, right?
