Gigantic One Piece fan here, currently on my fourth reread of the series. One Piece is not a worthwhile anime.

But the anime is only bad because they force it to be a weekly broadcast, when the manga isn’t even weekly any more (Oda takes a three weeks on, one week off schedule now).  The manga doesn’t have the problems the anime does.
