How do you prepare chicken hearts? I've never made them. I have eaten pigeon hearts prepared like a confit: slow cooked in duck fat. Absolutely delicious.

We shouldn't eat together, because anything jellied, savoury and cold is horrible to me. It's an irrational and visceral reaction. I will happily eat a raw oyster, but something like French paté literally makes me gag. Put that same paté on some hot bread so it's not cold anymore and I will eat it without a problem.

Frog legs are tasty but not that special. Good chance I would order them when I see them on a menu, but I definitely won't go out of my way to get them.

I think you can divide the 'weird' cuts of meat in three categories:
The challenge with trotters, tails and ears is not in the taste but in the texture. Gelatinous, a bit fatty, some cartilage. Can be delicious, but it really depends on the preparation and the skill of the cook. And even then I can imagine it's not for

I don't remember lots of brain on menu's or at butchers before the mad cow disease. I think the decline was almost complete before that.

Smoked eel is delicious, best smoked fish there is. Unfortunately I won't eat it anymore for moral reasons, they are all but extinct over here.
Full disclosure: I still sometimes order eel at a sushi place. Those little bits won't matter, right…

To be honest, the GOP sort of got him bestowed upon them and went along with it with forced grins.

My god, Netanyahu was cringing through that whole exchange. He looked like he couldn't believe what a boob he was standing next to. And that he was calling him Bibi.

It didn't help that a Muslim guy was arrested at first and that was in the news the first few hours. Later he was found to be completely innocent and actually more of a hero. But who reads or believes news that comes out 24 hours after the fact?

But we did have offhand mentions that if (when?) Trump starts the nuclear holocaust, it will be spectacular.

Cologne New Year's Eve events last year were indeed real and pretty horrible. At the same time they also were a textbook case of biased reporting and inspired fake news.
At first many reports said it were recent Syrian war refugees, the hot topic of that time. Later it turned out to be mostly North African immigrants.

That sounds much more like a consciously considered position than I think it is.

I personally think objectivism is a very objectionable philosophy. But I had to upvoted you for the reasonable and level headed response to Eazy E.
It's pretty shocking how he and some others on this site go after anyone with even the slightest perceived difference of opinion like rabid dogs.

The US has the least well regulated healthcare of the western world. The US also has the most expensive healthcare in the world, rated both in absolute as in relative "bang for bucks" numbers.

Upvoted not because I feel the same way, but because it's a perfectly valid sentiment. It's a shame how you are immediately branded and shamed as a Trump puppet for expressing it.

I was so fucking sure he wouldn't be elected the first time, that I can't be sure that he won't be re-elected.

As gmail disregards periods in e-mail addresses, so dis.gruntled@gmail is the same as disgruntled@gmail, this almost certainly is a valid address.

You can be certain that on a cosmic scale, Trump means absolutely nothing. Even on our own little planet, in the vast expanses of time his presence will be an insignificant blib. Only if he triggers full scale nuclear war, will he make a tiny dent in the geological records.

Also, people that insist you can't put two foods together because they fall in categories they arbitrarily decided to be incompatible, are the worst.

While this communications strategist makes some good points, I highly doubt Trump can fetch millions for this list when it becomes obvious 90% are variants on russianpisspuppet@tiny.hands.
