I mean, it’s a rated E (maybe T) game.  The songs were always censured. 

I’m probably one of the few fools that played it on an N64. And because it came in a cartridge rather than on cd, a song like “Superman” would constantly loop between the first verse and the chorus.

none of that changes the fact that the game didn’t feel good to play. And if the full game is just “more of that” then, yeah, no thanks. It doesn’t really matter how much gear or content there is if the base experience feels like shit. And playing The Avengers just reminded of  games that did this shit better.

The problem wasn’t the story though. It was the repetitive gameplay—do you like fighting robots, because holy shit do you fight a lot of robots— and the fact that the actual combat felt like shit.

It just feels like a game where unless you’re crazy for the MCU, this probably isn’t the game for you.

I was going to make some overlong passage on why you’re wrong. But then I focused on this:

Not really.  Considering that they’re using the games as a way for protest as well as committing to turning all stadiums into voting centers.  It’s using your power and privilege as an effective force for change and good.

Because recognizing that these athletes are anything more than piles of meat that crash into each other again and again would mean having to recognize their own mediocrity.

Unfortunately, it makes them even more susceptible to the grift and fascism. When bad shit happens, weak ass motherfuckers need someone to blame. And need a leader they can blindly follow.

If not, they actually might start thinking.  And god knows the only thing that terrifies a conservative is self-awareness.

If Trump wins it will not be for the same reasons that Trump won in 2016. I largely blame Trump’s victory on an apathetic voting base: People hated Hilary, but assumed she was going to win. and even if Trump did win, he’s just a puppet; America would go on as normal.
