Precisely.  Cera fit that Manic manchild energy perfect.  If Emile Hirsch is what some guys think should have played Scott, holy hell is that a misreading on that character.

Depending on how you look at it, he’s much worse in the comics.  The Nega-Scott is less an absurd punchline and more a dramatic plot point when it’s revealed that Scott was intentional recalling specific memories wrong to make him seem like a good guy when in reality he was a complete piece of shit.

I unfortunately only have the Demo of the game installed to my ps3. I don’t share the enthusiasm for the game since it felt kinda clunky for a beat-em-up. I do love that soundtrack and there was a period where I was jamming to it non stop.

Also: Michael Cera was great as Scott. Shut up already.

Disagreed. I absolutely loved Cera’s Scott.  Everyone does such a great job of bringing that comic to life.

Unfortunately Max Payne 2 was notorious for completely bombing and I think Max Payne 3 came out during a time when FPS were kinda the big thing.  I don’t think it’s all that surprising that the only remaster we got was of the first game.

Ludacris was in the movie so...yeah.   That movie had a lot of problems.

They’re not.  Both of them should have count their losses and just pushed their consoles back until 2021.  Because if the second wave of Corona is just as bad as the first, well no one is going to be worried about video games.

Play 2.  Of the three games, Max Payne 2 is easily has the best story.

Be forewarned.. Max Payne 3 is very much a rockstar game.  It trades Twin Peaks noir from MP2 for the neon  Miami Vice noir of the GTA games.  And that’s very apparent in the writing.

I plug in my ps3 on a yearly basis just to replay Max Payne 3.IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR A REMASTER? HUH?!!! YOU COWARDS!!

Also people are still playing the multiplayer, which I find incredible.
