All 4 anime series made it to the States, but Genesis was cancelled. A number of video games were also released in the US, and obviously, the model line. It was pretty popular for a time, but IDK how relevant they are today.

I’ve often used Let’s Plays to figure out what the gameplay is like, before making the purchase myself. Game trailers are notoriously bad at conveying how the game actually plays out.

2 things:

playing is definitely fun, but some people prefer to watch and sometimes it is god damn entertaining to watch, especially when a person gets frustrated trying to complete really difficult challenges on the other hand some people watch to see a person’s skill.
