I could not disagree more. The best games that has come out these past 3 years have all been crowdfunded and it’s the only way developers can actually make what they want rather than have some publishers tell em what they should do.
Well, the thing is, if we don’t crowdfund them, the AAA won’t either. Not crowdfunding doesn’t mean that they’ll suddenly receive funding from a large company, only that they won’t receive any funding whatsoever, sadly enough.
Either we help fund, or these games aren’t made. Big companies want the next BIG thing, not these niche games. So you’re literally helping the demise of these niche titles.
