I wouldn’t complain. If it was done as some cheap pandering gimmick or if the game itself was really not that great, then I simply wouldn’t buy it, thus not supporting it. I think you misunderstood. Linkle is not an incarnation of Link, like all the Links from each game. She is her own standalone character, separate from Link and his reincarnations.
