Grimm has that broadcast fatigue. Most shows really don't need to be more than 80 episodes.

If Cole's mother is anyone in the cast, it is the creepy lady whose name I am pretty sure hasn't been said yet.

I think the writers legitimately did want the show to improve and then Syfy was like, "no, you are not one of our good shows. Make something crazy happen in the last third."

I still have nightmares about that.

Soon to be ended, until summer brings the space trio (Killjoys, Dark Matter, The Expanse).

Helix thread: Not sure how I feel about the show atm. The serial killer development was absolute dogshit, but I still find myself enjoying the show and finding most elements tolerable.

12 Monkeys is probably the least cheesy Syfy show save for SGU/BSG.

Mark Margolis? Jonathan Banks? Is Syfy hiring up all the Breaking Bad veterans?

EXACTLY! It also doesn't help that you have to do several drafts to purge cliche, awkward and pointless elements and that is such a draining process. And that is when you don't have to completely rewrite/rebuild a scene. That paraphrased quotation is right on the money.

Yeah. I know no one wants to hear a creative boohoo-ing, but it is actually rare that a creative person gets recognized for what they want to be recognized for. You know, you work your ass off and pour everything you have into something over the period of years and no one notices You literally shit something out in an

As a writer, I can confirm that this is indeed a thing. Fans may not like it, but just because we are rabid for more of whatever an artist is known for, doesn't mean that artist has any actual interest in pursuing it.

I am almost certain it is. Whether or not it is the next SGU/BSG remains to be seen.

You are forgetting Lost Girl, that is ending, too. It actually kinda kills me inside, because that show used to be good.

Eh well, not every Syfy show can be 12 Monkeys or Defiance.

First Better Call Saul and now The Americans. I am beginning to think this is the week of traumatizing conversations.

They could at any time, I feel, especially now that Jimmy seems to be leaning towards Saul.

First, I said "would probably" which is pretty passive language. Second, I was specifically talking about this kind of scenario. If you would hold on to your sibling after they pulled something like this on you, then that is your prerogative and more power to you.

While that is true to an extent, you can't undersell the work Schnauz has done or really the work any member of the writing staff does.

Poliche. I like that.

What I mean is, I think they wrote the dialogue with him already in mind.
