Gosh so many questions. How do you even remake this? Will they overhaul the character building and combat entirely? I can’t imagine they’ll use the old D20 style system. It’s just very slow by today’s standards.

until I start seeing the game’s systems and actual gameplay footage, I am ignoring anything “remade” at this point.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a writer come into their own and find their unique voice as quickly and completely as Ash. Seems like she became a pillar around here almost instantly, and deservedly so.

This. Totally agree. And I know it’s easy to say these public statements don’t matter, but to some extent they do at least help create an environment/culture where people feel justified in calling out this BS when they see it.
