At least they didn’t shorten it, though the North American branch could be Ba-Na-NA... which, I dunno. Improvement?

Or uses Proactiv, yes.
I miss deadspin.
“You’ve got to tell me, it’s the law!”
Most likely the demo. So, you are probably correct on that front.
“[Timberborn is] a fun zen game, where you just build stuff and enjoy looking at the beavers go ham.”
Off the normal topic, but one of my favorite campaigns was the DM taking five different unconnected backstories that he asked us to leave somewhat vague and with hooks in our backstories. The rule was ‘somewhat generic fantasy, and don’t talk to anyone else except about what class you are playing’.
New and interesting games are all well and good, but you can barely give someone a primer on a campaign world and expect them pay attention to it. These worlds maintain such a high population of players because you only need a basic passing knowledge of what generic fantasy is, and you can roll up a character.

The game is going to be different, so why not make a different game? This is remaking a title with the ‘same’ story, but with a different format that robs a lot of the charm that existed in the previous.
My complaint is that the title doesn’t need to be touched, the ability to make sequels exists. Hell, even a prequel…
I am *so* looking forward to another game that defined my childhood being remade into an Action-RPG lite with much of the strategy ripped out of it!
Why was Wolversix afraid of...
I’m with you on this. If it gets turned into an action-rpg ala the FF7 remake, I’m not interested.
Growing Up is pretty much Chinese Parents, with a different (subjectively) nicer skin.
The reason is money.
If he’s a current DS with the expectation to keep him in, they will likely bust him down, keep an E-6 on his collar, and have him rot in Reception until his current cycle is over. If they really don’t like him, they’ll keep him until his contract is up there.
And if that doesn’t get you to play the series...
