I bought DA2 for console when it came out, but like Origins: Ultimate Edition wanted it for PC. I finally gave in and bought it last week off of Origin for 5 bucks. Not happy that the two DLC I want are 10 a piece...

It's that way mainly because the power difference in the generations are not as drastic as they were before. Look at Killzone 1 and then compare it to KZ2. The graphics alone are night and day.

It's not a top down RPG. It's a RPG (Visually like the Witcher, 3rd person etc) where you can pause the game and go into a tactical top down mode. You don't actually play the game top down.

I did the same thing today and it was all yogurt, got one blue berry.
