That could very well be, which is why I say I’m in the “better safe than sorry” camp when it comes to pregnancies. But there is a big difference between lab rats (especially genetically modified rats) as opposed to a healthy human bean.

My own thoughts are that while all the scare tactics surrounding Zika might ultimately end up being true, so far it seems like there has been a fair amount of cherry picking the data to feed the media’s need for the next big (possible) apocalyptic scourge.

Or you won’t have a story at all, other than “I was under the weather”. All the other comments are not from first hand experience, just things they have read. In an article about bad information, a lot of this is also bad information. If you are elderly influenza is still a bigger concern than all mosquito born…

They were sick all of 5 days, only missed 1 day each of work even though they we both told to take as much time as they needed to get healthy. Both of them…
