I love cars, just as I’m sure other readers here do, so I gave all the Top Gear iterations a watch. And...they were just always so meh compared to the Top Gear—the one starring Clarkson, Hammond, and May. And let’s face facts: it wasn’t the car reviews and stunts that truly made the show—it was the hosts’ constant

It’s a new development in that it seems to have come back after a long absence for whatever reason. Licensed shovelware games were mostly banished to mobile, it felt like. Why are they coming back to PC and console?

Gaming has a long history of lazy terrible cash grab licensed games. I’m surprised we are reporting on it in 2023 like it’s a new development

The games based on the comics are generally pretty solid. The Telltale series, Saints & Sinners, etc, were well-received. The games based on the show... not so much.

I don’t think there’s any major property that’s more careless with their license than TWD. You’ll see the scammiest mobile game imaginable, and its like, featuring Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead™, and it’s completely legit.

It looks like Walton Goggins as Rick in that video thumbnail

It’s so terrible… that it’s perfect!

There’s also Dennis Rodman’s Prowler in the collection with the same Chester Flaming Hot Cheeto paint scheme. With the same “non-running kept in storage” disclaimer.

“The newest car is a 2005 Ford GT. There is also a 991 Porsche 911"

Note to all wealthy “car collectors”: This is how you build a collection. Fill it with interesting stuff. Anyone with money can have a garage full of the current crop of super/hyper cars. It’s not interesting in the slightest.

If I were Ferrari, I’d be suing the shit out of the race organizers for their shoddy track ruining a very expensive PU.

This is the ultimate injury. Break your car due to the track, and get penalized for it.

They weld the manhole, water, sewer covers to the ring. Ring will pull up out of the asphalt.

The grid penalty is the ultimate insult after a defective track ruins your car and costs beaucoup Euros to fix.

No, they never do, and they’re always disruptive to their host cities for months surrounding the actual date - that includes Albert Park, Baku, and Jeddah, and even Miami and Villeneuve interrupt some aspect of publicly used areas. But it’s fine if they get the opportunity to bring up the problem which then shines a

You don’t know much about Vegas, only what the media shows you. Many people live there because of the cost of living (no state income tax being a big benefit) and many other reasons that have zero to do with the hospitality industry.

Seriously. The first time I went to Vegas it was with a group of friends and we booked a 7 night trip. By  day 4 we were already over it (the excessive drinking didn’t help).

Boo hoo. Las Vegas exists exactly because of nonsense like this, designed to extract money from tourists. Everyone that lives there IS THERE because of that fact and knows it. It’s not a city, it’s a venue. Locals whining about it is hypocritical. Tourists whining about it (and their non-F1 related vacations being
