The MobilityWare Solitaire app (Android, free) is terrific, and all the ads can be skipped by tapping your back button. That’s the one installed on my tablet, and I’m not bothering with the Microsoft ads.
The thing with this is that sometimes they have non-Steam versions of the game, like I have Oblivion (prequel to Skyrim, everyone) and I specifically got the CD version so I could have all the DLC and Shivering Isles.
