I was so excited to see the Looney Tunes collection on HBOMax. My son is getting such a kick out of the show (and like me, his favorite episodes are the Daffy ones).

I’m goimg to make one right now! YOINKS, AND AWAY!
I’d give that a fair shake, and after thinking about it., now I’m wanting to try molé over a good vanilla ice cream too.
Someone on another site noted that Monica goes through three walls (well, two walls and a fence) before she goes through the barrier.
May you never suffer from the CancerAids and your life be filled with Dawes.
More Albert Brooks please.
One of the big mistakes Disney made when it was putting together its new Star Wars movies is that it went in without any real plan.
Cloris Leachman always struck me as one of those wonderful people who aged physically not mentally. She had an incredible range as a performer, but I think equally important was her willingness to stretch and take some out-there roles, particularly in comedy. That’s a rare gift and one to be celebrated.
I still haven’t seen the first one, either, though I’m sure I’ll watch them both at some point.
I wonder how much HBO Max finally being available via Roku (in many cases to people who were already paying for regular HBO) had an effect on those numbers.
My (mis)understanding is that more than a few cops described it as television’s best reflection of how their day actually goes.
I’m still enjoying it! I don’t need it to be another The Good Place or 30 Rock, really, and I have plenty of sitcoms that make me think and cry as well as laugh. I’m very content just to watch Holly Hunter be weird AF (as Fonzie) for 22 minutes a week.
Agreed. It’s a 30 min sitcom that has funny people doing funny things, I’m not sure what people are looking for. The fact that it doesn’t lean on the laugh track crutch (looking at you, Call me Kat) gives it some serious brownie points in my book.
I don’t care what anyone says, this show is funny. The cast is great together—Danson is always a reliable a comedy staple, Moynihan is perrfect as the bumbling assistant who’s even more incompetent than the mayor, and Hunter is simply a national treasure who can do it all. The supporting cast is solid and well-cast…
I got a “Kylie Jenner showering” notification for this?!?1?
Ranch on wings is crap. Blue cheese is superior for the task. Also as a sald dressing. Blue cheese is pretty much always better.
Give me bleu cheese or give me death!
Oh no! I just discovered the show is on Peacock for free.
“This is a funny jibe at the vagueness of the jobs of most sitcom dads,..”
Mark Evanier has a story about Nazis calling Kirby from the lobby and threatening to show them what real alt-righters would do to Captain America. Kirby rolled up his sleeves and headed downstairs, but they were gone before he got there.
