The 2001 “South Pacific” TV movie was pretty good; the common knock against it is that Glenn Close was too old to play Nellie, and I can see that, but it didn’t bother me as much as it bothered some.
If I recall correctly, the art direction in the movie “Dick Tracy” referenced this — all primary colors, and if you saw one shade of yellow on Dick’s raincoat it would be the same shade of yellow on anything else that was yellow.
This gives you a good idea of the flavor of the show.
For what it is, “The Hustler” is actually quite entertaining, much more so than a standard game show with a similar premise, “Dirty Rotten Cheater,” that ran some years back. Ferguson seems to be having fun interacting with the players and teasing them about whether or not they are the Hustler.
