I think it’s curious that Amber Tamblyn landed an opinion piece on the editorial page of The New York Times.

Thirty-eight-year-old Tamblyn began acting at age 10, becoming her family’s primary earner after starring in hit TV show Joan of Arcadia at 21.

With actual horrible people out there having full-throated access to the “public bullhorn” it seems kind of, I dunno, petty” to dump on Teigen.

How can you cancel this beloved show? Also the writing is racist and bad” is the new “the food is terrible and the portions are too small.”

My takeaway from all that I’ve read about this is that Ins Choi had his vision of the show and the characters, didn’t seem the least bit interested in hearing anyone else’s ideas, and Liu seemed to increasingly resent that, understandably. Who knows if his ideas for his character were any good, though (Jung should be

I know it’s since become a reasonably well watched show for netflix but it started out as an incredibly small CBC sitcom based on a fringe show that turned into a stage play, how much were you expecting to make up front? I’m not really surprised the acting talents’ contract reflect that.

“Oh we knew hihihi.” Thank you for being condescending & snarky to people still in the closet and scared to come out.

I don’t understand the scorn in this article. He was born into enormous privilege that came with a global platform, and appears to be committed to using those advantages to help others. This seems a lot more noble to me than what most people born to extreme generational wealth choose to do with their lives.

All of his work promoting mental health as a royal is also exactly right in line with this new job.

Harry and Meghan are trying. They’re using their fame and wealth to do good.

You’re my hero and I came here to say this same kind of thing. :D

This is the best reply I’ve read all morning!

Harry is more than likely going to be a spokesperson for this company.

Sounds like she tried to pull: Do you know who I am card?

Yeah, I’m of two minds of this. On one hand, ABC has made millions (hundreds of millions?) off of her shows. But also, like, when they say “they never do this,” it’s probably true. Just buy an extra ticket or whatever.

The rich really do resent paying for anything.

I really do like Shonda Rhimes’s shows, but this doesn’t make ABC or Rhimes look good. It’s a pittance to Rhimes and ABC...and beyond the reach for many of us peasants.
