I would agree with Person of Interest and Sleepy Hollow looks promising, although mostly focused right now on it's two leads. Brooklyn 99 is the only comedy I can think of that's trying to reach for that.

Like with the Kobayashi Maru Test. You don't get to be a captain in Starfleet unless the Federation knows for an absolute certainty that you know how to Captain. I imagine most of the other Starfleet professions have similar tests.
