It’s almost as if people can change.
It’s almost as if people can change.
Electoral college is far far worse than an aristocracy that has no power.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Trump even a tiny bit, but crying about the Electoral College not being democratic enough is some petty, sour grapes. USA ain’t a pure democracy, and never has been. Dems could try running someone who can win in the electoral system we HAVE next time, instead of the one some would…
My screen name isn’t a reflection on my personality or an expression of my true self.
“Let’s make a modern adaptation of a 1960s heist film that was poorly received and replace Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin with the dude from ER and Jennifer Anniston’s beau.”
How depressing and disgusting. It blows my mind how many men genuinely hate women. That honestly think of us as less-than. That honestly think a movie with an all female cast is garbage. smh
Meanwhile on reddit: “Why won’t anyone date meeeeeeee??!?!!”
I for one welcome our new female overlords.
I hope the feminists are taking over. These fragile boys have shown how the smallest things can upset their whole lives. Poor babies.
Yeah, I didn’t get that either, and I sort of don’t get some of the responses that are being critical by saying that giving $14 million to your friends is taking it away from a charity. Huh? It’s not taking it away if it wasn’t theirs to begin with. It’s Clooney’s money to distribute as he sees fit, otherwise where…
I think he just wanted to show his friends he valued them. As I remember it, he’s mentioned in interviews how he came to Hollywood with very little and lived on friend’s good graces and they helped him a lot in the beginning. I don’t know if he’s thinking he’s altruistic so much as giving back to people he loves.
My insight would be that she would never do this because almost nothing she believes in aligns with the democrats. She’s just not batshit insane. We need to stop drawing the conclusion that just because people like Susan Collins and Jeff Flake aren’t literal crazy people, that they are somehow progressive or aligned…
Unless she screws up, I don’t see why she’d be any less likely to win than would Franken. The same Dems and progressives that came out for Franken should come out for her, unless she does something regressive or stupid. And as for moderates and conservatives, I doubt very seriously any of them ever voted for Franken…
I think the story here is that white women, just like black women, generally vote in their self-interest. Whiteness has real advantages in finding a job, going to the right school, living in the best neighborhoods, etc. It’s understandable so many of them would want to vote for a candidate that would maintain that…
I’m surprised that there weren’t more _public_ breakdowns. The whole thing with Weinstein explains Paz de la Huerta’s public breakdown so much.
My Egyptian friend forfeited an entire year of dental school because when she finished her final exam, she made a few doodles on the back page. Nothing lewd or salacious. Just her name, some clouds, a happy smiley face. She was just trying to kill time because you’re not permitted to give the test back until a certain…
As a white guy, can confirm.
This is the correct fucking headline. All over Facebook, my friends are celebrating with “way to go Alabama.”
Fuck that, this is only a victory because enough Black men and women managed to break through the supressive tactics of a white supremacist STATE. This isn’t “way to go Alabama,” it’s “Way to go black voters!…
I don’t normally do this, but I HIGHLY advise everyone go to Breitbart tonight and read the comments*. They’re hilarious!
