The Gringo on Amazon prime was pretty funny, kind of a comedy caper movie.

Hi Jezzies. I’m a long time lurker, but I wanted to make an account today to share a story.

The original Manchurian Candidate?

I rewatched The Babadook recently. Such a great film. If you want thrills I can recommend many a decent horror movie; The Shining, The Exorcist (but not the sequels), Don’t Look Now, Rosemary’s Baby, The Omen, Suspiria (NOT the remake), Deep Red, The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari, Nosferatu (both the Murnau and Herzog

12 Angry Men is very exciting. Safety Not Guaranteed and The One I Love are both great and somewhat in the vein of Get Out!

Great God almighty. The first time I read it, I didn’t realize he misspelled “come” and I flipped out. Whew. That was a roller coaster.

Dog may not have honor, but he got some tasty bones and a partner in crime.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Last movie I watched was the animated Spider-Man movie, which I enjoyed a lot.  It has a lot going on, so your attention is absorbed.

Three Billboards outside ebbing, bad times at the el royale, chef, world war z

BlackKKlansman was great. I also enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians. Or go old school and find something like Gilda or Casablanca.

So (the former) Mr. Duck and I are still hashing out things, and he’s getting ready to move out. And we just now had a long, sad, good talk about things, because I tend to shut down when life crises occur and I really needed to have feelings in front of him.

Lol, those idiots still think it’s a bear bribing that dog with deer bones to rummage through their garbage when it’s been me all along.

A protection order will not stop a criminal from breaking the law, and the woman is not required to have one in order to call the police if this guy intrudes on her property.

And they do. Every driver is required to attend an orientation, and this is one of the things they talk about. That does not mean everybody listens. And when they don’t listen, they get fired, plain and simple.

Yes and yes, and they explain the consequences if you do. Things still happen, and they happen everywhere, and DoorDash handled the situation correctly by FIRING him. Do you work for DoorDash? I doubt it. So why hate on a company that handled the situation correctly, or negatively implicate the millions of other

That’s not how suing someone for emotional distress works. First, there needs to be an actual injury— you can’t sue someone and just say “you upset me.” That would be crazy.

I think it’s good. I’m grateful for the opportunity to drive for these companies. Most people that drive are professional. Alot do have some prior arrests but it’s years ago and all companies run background and motor vehicle reports. It’s not the strictest check but I think it’s fair. The area I work is very diverse

We (the users) have to accept some responsibility for this. We are creating a demand for cheap and convenient. It’s been going on for a while and the internet is making it even easier. The more we want <insert whatever> faster, more convenient to us and cheaper, the more that demand will push people to supply it.

Also: now she’s (rightfully) gotten this guy who clearly has unlimited employment options, excellent judgment, and a deep respect for women fired... and he knows where she lives. That’s the part that freaks me out.
