This. I work in a very conservative field and the people in power (almost exclusively white men) are some the cliquiest, gossipy, conniving, backstabbing, passive-aggressive assholes on the planet... but because they are men it’s called “office politics.”

I don’t like the fact that this woman-led/ staffed company is characterized as being especially catty, cliquey, and “mean girls”-like in feel. The same shit exists in male dominated businesses and offices. Unprofessional people are the same, men and women alike, and the same behaviors just get different names. I know…

I am not a Justim fan, but it seems like his people are trying (sometimes in vain) to improve his image and that's not going to happen around Charlie Sheen. Whether they hit it off or start a feud with each other. It seems like they were just trying to avoid a situation that could lead to drama and negative publicity.

The fight did not end just because gay people are allowed to get married in all 50 states. This couple have provided this child with a stable home, the biological mother even…

But this isn’t really a case of the bystander effect ... There were no other bystanders. Usually solo people are more likely to help because they are the only ones there. The bystander effect is caused by cumultative assumption others will do the right or difficult thing so one doesn’t have to.
