Brownback has managed to alienate some of his staunchest supporters in Kansas, so he’s pretty much a rat off a sinking ship in leaving Kansas, to be a rat on a much bigger sinking ship. I just hope his staff at his new job, if he’s appointed, manages to hobble him somehow.

Except he’s terrifying. Most ‘Christian’ politicians act close to Jesus for their voters. Brownback is supposedly a true believer who scares even the actual Christians in Washington.

Guys, I think the president might not understand what religious freedom means.

Given Brownback’s record in Kansas and Cheetolini’s standard of appointing agency heads to destroy their own agencies, I’m surprised Brownback is not being sent to Treasury or the IRS.

First, I didn’t say “he can’t do any real damage,” I said that in this role, people can pay him as much attention as he warrants and he warrants very little attention. He doesn’t have the purse strings to any of the “substantial foreign aid funds” that you speak of. Those are devised and disposed of through the

This guy passed a virtually useless law to “ban” Shariah in Kansas, singling out American Muslims in his state who never sought it in the first place:

Honestly, this is some sort of random non-job and it gets him the hell out of Kansas where he has actual power. Not being an official ambassador assigned to a country, foreign leaders don’t have to allow him in and people will pay him as much attention as he warrants - which is very little. Will he probably be bizarre

On behalf of everyone in Kansas, good riddance. He has burned down the budget and destroyed schools. He did one great thing though, he spurred bipartisanship and elected moderates to the statehouse. Overriding his veto and sending his tax cuts back to hell was sweet cherry pie. Now please excuse the state of Kansas

Can I order a Keanu Reeves, please?

Using “creamy-white” three times in the same paragraph disturbs me on a visceral level.

The second I lay eyes on it I thought, “Big mistake. Big. Huge”.

I would love it if she were like “Fuck yeah, I said it! I should have said it a long time ago. This has gone way way WAY too fucking far! IMPEACH.”

I’m of the mind that Varys is working as a double-agent, despite his spirited speech about his support for the populace.

Nymeria took one sniff of Arya and was all like “Um yeah girl you seem to have your shit together. Ima look after all these hungry pups who don’t. Good luck in your future ventures. NYM OUT.”

Not sure how you’re the first person in the comments to point that out. I thought that was obvious. Also, Euron was JUST at King’s Landing. Looking at the map, Dragonstone isn’t that far away, and they knew that Dany’s fleet was there. Not a far stretch for him to intercept them. I thought that was implied at the

“[T]he Sand Snakes have consistently been some of the most interesting and compelling characters on the show...” This has to be among the most ridiculous things I have ever seen posted on this site.

A couple things:

Unpopular opinion but last season was one of the series best. Only one that I ever found actually scary.

Ugh, Lena Dunham, really?

Speaking of depression as a disease, it’s also important to remember that suicide is contagious, as is clearly demonstrated by the fact that this man died on his friend’s birthday.
