The beautiful irony for assholes who claim we must“separate the artist from the art” when it comes to Woody Allen is that... you’re still left with a whole lot of ‘art’ in which an old man likes to fuck very young girls.

I just wrote an essay touching on this. As an old going back to college, I’m really stunned that we’re still having this discussion. I had to read a Woody Allen piece in the literature class I just took, and the entirety of my essay was basically: Fuck you. I mean, politely. But it was that short “play” about Death.

Every one of his movies is the exact fucking same. There’s a bumbling nebbish (often played by him) and a gorgeous younger woman is inexplicably in love with him.

ummm...i’m gonna beg to differ. yeah, cosby raped many more women...so the volume of his crimes is, sure, yeah, greater. but woody allen is a fucking predator and who knows what damages he’s caused that we don’t know about.

Is it just me, or does Woody Allen make the same movie over and over for the most part? So many of them blur together and most of them are annoyingly self-aggrandizing. I don’t quite understand the culture of adulation around this man.

“forcing her to suck his thumb”

After an actor works with him, I never look at them the same way. Colin Firth... Emma Stone... It always leaves a bad taste in my mouth that they either didn’t believe Dylan Farrow or they don’t care.

My mother has worked in the film industry a long time. And, I sent her a link to the Kristen Stewart piece from Jez last night. And, this was her response:

Allen’s latest film Cafe Society—which opens the Cannes Film Festival tonight and stars Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Steve Carell

i love ronan and dylan and the stand they are taking. brave and important

ugh so disappointed in my girl blake.

That isn’t slut shaming. That’s fucking a married person shaming, which is a shitty thing to do regardless of your gender. It is quite relevant because Stewart apparently only empathizes with people she can “personalize,” whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean, something akin to “know” I suppose.

I guess it made it easy for her to fuck her married director because Kristen didn’t know his wife. She was just some amorphous concept and no one that Kristen had to concern herself with.

I think this is more good ole-fashioned egocentricity and self-centered behavior. I'm curious as to whether she actually spoke to Jesse or not. It's impossible to tell really but his quote kinda makes it seem like the conversation never happened but he didn't want to call her out. But I'm admittedly reading into it.

Ugh anyone who uses the phrase “You don’t know my life!” unironically is the worst. Stewart and Eisenberg are both insufferable, and Woody Allen can rot, and I hope this movie fails miserably at the box office.

Here she is, racist as fuck again (and no, I’m not talking about the Iggy Azalea shit, but her anti-semitism, and then there’s her homophobia too). Wonder how many of her defenders are going to show up this time. She’s the worst.

I’ve noticed so many of these “Pregnancy Crisis Centers” popping up around me (SE Michigan). Now that I’m pregz i realllllly wanna go visit one and troll them when they try to spout “facts” at me.

Wouldn’t it be nice if tax breaks went to companies that donated money to causes like this rather than threatening to up and leave in favor of cheap labor? Oh how I wish money didn’t run the world...

And he seems a little confused about who exactly changed her life by adopting her from Korea.
