Another ProTip some people appreciate (myself included) is that if you hold the ‘PS’ button for 10 seconds, the controller shuts down.

This was apparently something that could be done on the PS3 as well, but since it was faster to just press the PS button and select ‘Turn Off Controller’, I never knew about it.

Oh, so now it’s not okay to cater to people living in the future? Cool.

Sadly I'm between jobs at the moment as I get my studio on its feet. Have my PS4 sitting near by so I decided to apply a little analysis. The cases are intermittent and tends to slip into this coma state almost instantaneously. Most notably there is a Disc re-alignment noise from the drive when it occurs (didn't

You mean like MHO? That China exclusive BS? Huehuehuehue. Wait, that's not how Chinese laugh sounds like.

Stanley was confronted by a ghost. He had seen the ghost before, time and time again. Stanley had long since lost his fear of the ghost and just wondered why he couldn't grab the keys by the front entrance and walk out of the house. Stanley stood there and pondered this for a moment and decided to reset the hallway

a perfect game for the wiiU.. It's a shame though. The gamepad would have come in handy.. :/

maybe if it was on Wii U. Which it's not.

Developers apparently don'y have to do anything to use this. The article isn't well written but he's saying it's only on PS4 and not on PS3.

You aren't lending them the game. You're playing it and just "passing them the controller". It's not supposed to be a system to give people your games.

The article is only talking about streaming a single player game for some reason. The actual feature does support this and it was in the original announcement at Gamescom.

Incorrect. The system allows you to retain control and still stream the game to another person with which they can join a a "local" player for games that support local multiplayer. Read up.

Any reason the local multiplayer via sharing was left out? That's the most interesting part of this feature in my opinion. I'm not really ever going to share a game online and leave my console going for someone else, but I plan to use the "virtual couch" multiplayer aspect all the time for stuff like Towerfall.

I'd be surprised if there's nothing you can do in local multiplayer for Evolve. Maybe just versus an AI monster or something. Obviously split screen doesn't work with a full 4v1 game, but no reason you couldn't have a team of hunters in split screen. Maybe only with 2 human hunters + 2 AI.

Actually it's you who is mistaken. The feature allows a "virtual couch" which lets you play local multiplayer online by sharing the game, as well as what this article describes.

Sounds like an awesome idea. From what I got from the presser at Gamescom is they can also play couch coop games with the host as well. Meaning both playing together on the hosts console over SharePlay. I just hope there's not too many people trying to let their friends play entire games this way. I can definitely see

I think there should be a term for omitting characters. It should be called "Coldhanded". Like "Man, Lady Stoneheart got coldhanded" or "Wow, they coldhanded Arianne?"

I shall strive to join the Dynasty Warriors pantheon (assuming I can get it cheap, of course).

That definitely makes more sense. I was a little confused by what I've seen since the enemies don't seem like they're motivated to, you know, actually kill you.

Now playing

The simplest things about a new console can catch your eye—or, in this case, hide from it. The PS4, as you'll see in this video, has the most inconspicuous power button we've ever seen on a console. Bonus: the disc drive in action!
