In a case like this it’s a bit more complicated though. If everyone else is earning more than you, cost of living will likely be increasing in the area. If you’re the only one not earning the larger value you’ll get screwed by taxes, rent, and possibly even things like gas and food costs.

Man I loved those games when I was young. I went back to try and play them last year and they are god awful now. Nothing synchs properly to the music and it was so frustrating...

You actually can’t back up saves on the Switch. Because Nintendo.

Prime doesn’t have different stream quality as far as I’m aware.

Please let this be a thing. I avoided HOTD this year because screw Facebook streaming and it’s awful quality.

That was basically my point. Showing this kind of stuff isn’t going to inspire the masses. People want to see something that works, not a half baked story board. It’s fine to show to execs at a company since they (generally) have more context for it being unfinished.

Sure but Pixar doesn’t show those storyboards to the masses before producing anything in the hopes that people will throw money at them.

Hope it’s better value than the Zelda “escape game” was.

This name causes me to get weirdly annoyed.

Actually it’s more like reading the first couple chapters and deciding that it isn’t really for you. Your analogy is more like if I had just read about it on MyAnimeList.

The issue with that is at what point should someone have to “force” themselves to watch something they aren’t enjoying because it “gets better”? If I don’t like the sexy bikinis aspect I’m not going to sit there not enjoying it for hours because someone told me I might like it after hour 2.

That’s definitely true and contributes to an initial bias, but doesn’t change the fact that it wasn’t something I was interested in. In my case at least I didn’t see anything interesting enough to get me to keep watching, as I did with Kill La Kill which was undeniably “worse” about the fan service than Dragon Maid

I mean, that’s even what the article is saying. That doesn’t mean she has to like it if the fan service isn’t to her liking though. I had the same kind of reaction as Cecilia. I tried watching it after seeing how many people were raving about it, but it turned me off pretty quickly (made it 2 episodes in) despite not

Personal preferences are a thing. I loved Kill La Kill and will try and convince people to watch it despite the obvious concerns some people have. However I gave up watching Kobayashi Dragon Maid after the second episode. It was just too much about the sexiness for my tastes.

By this logic putting something like “Americans are lazy slobs” (or worse of course) in the game would be fine, since there’s more people that aren’t American in the world than Americans. Right?

Syndicate was pretty cool in my opinion. I loved the London setting, and the characters were fun.

This game is really awesome. I remember spending a lot of time playing it.

Well the difference in a Let’s Play is you are actually playing the game, and it’s your interaction with the game that (arguably) generates the content. This is them playing a video and talking about it, which you can’t do with things like a feature film. There’s limits on how much of someone else’s created content

You can’t access the shop until you finish the three routes so it doesn’t impact the stats at all. Non-story trophies it does of course.

Oooooooo now I see what you meant. My bad!
