You aren't lending them the game. You're playing it and just "passing them the controller". It's not supposed to be a system to give people your games.

The article is only talking about streaming a single player game for some reason. The actual feature does support this and it was in the original announcement at Gamescom.

Incorrect. The system allows you to retain control and still stream the game to another person with which they can join a a "local" player for games that support local multiplayer. Read up.

Any reason the local multiplayer via sharing was left out? That's the most interesting part of this feature in my opinion. I'm not really ever going to share a game online and leave my console going for someone else, but I plan to use the "virtual couch" multiplayer aspect all the time for stuff like Towerfall.

I'd be surprised if there's nothing you can do in local multiplayer for Evolve. Maybe just versus an AI monster or something. Obviously split screen doesn't work with a full 4v1 game, but no reason you couldn't have a team of hunters in split screen. Maybe only with 2 human hunters + 2 AI.

Actually it's you who is mistaken. The feature allows a "virtual couch" which lets you play local multiplayer online by sharing the game, as well as what this article describes.

True, but he specified Far Cry 3, which wasn't.

Far Cry isn't Crytek. It's Ubisoft. It's also generally considered a good game by most people.

A lot of people seem to be reading this very differently than I do.

They seperated them in the new Smash Bros as well. I think it's mostly because Sheik is only one of the Zeldas, while the Zelda in the games represents a more global version of her.

One thing to keep in mind is that it's only button mash-y at lower difficulties. The higher difficulties will murder you if you just try and mash all the buttons without knowing what your attacks do and which combos you can pull if in different instances (also guard breaking).

That's not how exclusive content works. It's usually a deal with the console manufacturer, and not just the decision of the developer.

Get the Guardian Force Boost ability for a summon and you can do a little "mini-game" to make the summon do more damage during the animation.

Atleast once you get GF Boost for a summon you have something to do during the cutscenes. Makes for a more interesting time when you have a direct influence on the strength of your summons.

Well, the games are on Steam Greenlight. Which is mentioned in the article.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Complete Edition for the PS4 also has a similar mechanic. People watching you can either increase the number of enemies attacking or spawn health to help you.

If the entire team didn't fire a shot, they'd still finish the campaign. You don't have to win a single match for the campaign to end. It'll just advance to the next map regardless.

The difference here is that they at least released a video showing how it will (most likely) look at release. Aliens was only showing old footage that they knew would not represent the finished product. Also, this is a PC comparison against PS4. Aliens on PC was still shit.

I assume you meant 18+ hours per day, since a typical work week anywhere is usually 40 hours.

Lol actually yes?
