I’m furiously fast forwarding to the good parts as I type. I will report back in a moment to let you know!

Yes.
I JUST GOT MY COPY IN THE MAIL THIS VERY DAY!! I ordered the UK edition from PBS. I’m surprised they sent it to me already, before the entire series has aired on TV. But, I am not complaining, and will watch the entire series before I sleep tonight.
Peta Wilson as Nikita was my favorite. I wanted to bleach my hair and collect cool shades so I could be just like her. I am nothing like her, and this depressed me very much.
Have you contacted any domestic violence support centers that can also help you find lawyers who might be willing to make fee arrangements in cases such as yours? Sorry if I’m giving advice about something you have already looked into. I am sure you have been exploring all options.
Is there a legal aid society in your area? You can look online for one. Many have a family law unit, and if you meet the income qualifications, they will help you for free. The lawyers there are usually top notch, so don’t think you are settling just because you aren’t paying for their service. Hope things all work…
Yes! to watching movies by oneself! My list of people with whom I will watch movies has gotten smaller and smaller, and I don’t feel the slightest bit self-conscious about being alone in a theater anymore. Why should I deny myself the pleasure of watching a movie just because no one else I know wants to?
Just wanted to say kudos to you for supporting your BF through this. It is tough for family/friends of someone going through this, but your role as a supporter in this process is so vital. It kept me going when I thought I would not make it. You will have your BF back after it is over, I promise!
Late reply here, but that was me last summer. And again last winter when I had to retake it. I know the feelings all to well. But as someone who made it to the other side, with most of my brain cells and hair in tact, I can say that after it is over, the memory of the stress will fade into the joy of succeeding. I…
Prince Will’s very British reaction.
I heard an interview with him, where he said he got a lot of flack for kissing a Jewish girl in this film. He could not have cared less, and did his own thing.
New Yorker here, and I definitely heard it. But, I did grow up in Florida, so.....
Bryan Stevenson is my hero! I had the privilege of hearing him speak at a career fair for public interest law students/lawyers last fall. He had me in tears one moment, and laughing the next. It is because of lawyers like him that I chose the profession.
Sorry this reply is so late, but I just had to comment how ANNOYING I find it that people keep comparing this to Downton Abbey. IT IS NOTHING LIKE DOWNTON ABBY, PEOPLE!!!! It is darker, rougher, steamier, sexier...need I go on?
Dammit, I’m trying to figure out how to insert a blushing gif, but I am illiterate. So you’ll just have to imagine Bashful the dwarf turning all rosy.
Actually, it’s the BBC Global News Podcast I listen to. Oops! They may do it differently for World News.
That’s so funny! I listen to BBC World News, and they always end their broadcast with “Goodbye.” I laugh because it sounds so abrupt, unlike “Good evening” as we do in the US. It’s so interesting how our use of language differs.
Blueberry pie. It’s why I am proud to be an American.
Well this makes me wonder what is going on with Facebook keeping track of everyone who used that link to change their profile pics to rainbow colors. Will we all be banned someday?
