Lupus is a horrible disease. I have several friends with lupus and it is life changing.

It’s hard to admit the people you love aren’t nice. I loved my maternal grandfather very much, but he was a racist, and he was an abusive father. He was a great grandad and I loved him, but he wasn’t a nice man, and that is so hard to accept.
