People keep making comparisons to Watergate; but compared to what we seem to be looking at here - possible collusion with Russia, a plethora of financial crimes, obstruction of justice, undermining the framework of American law enforcement - a little breaking and entering seems quaint.

Trump has already done plenty of impeach-worthy things. Nothing is happening because the Republicans are in control. If the pee-tape and collusion were proved tomorrow, they’d still do nothing.

I’m more scared every day that he’s going to shut down Mueller’s investigation and nothing at all will happen as a consequence. I’m feeling super discouraged today. I try to stay positive, but it’s more difficult some days.

My daughter asked me why can’t they just impeach him already. I told her these things take time. The Watergate burglary took place in June 1972 and Nixon resigned in August 1974. I remind myself of this daily to maintain my sanity.

My feeling is that Vanessa Trump’s filing for divorce while her father-in-law is still in office is a definitive omen that the walls are crumbling around them. Were Mueller not closing in, there isn’t a chance she would have divorced her husband during the term. Whether this is a ploy by one or both remains to be seen.
