What are you talking about?! Please get your facts checked. Also, this country separates church and state*, so who cares if he supposedly mocked the Bible (which he didn't, I'm sure it was all out of context)? How does that factor into how he is as a president and politician?

Iran was really progressive in the 20th century...until the 1979 revolution.

Oh my God, I'm so sorry about your cat :( I bet that must have been very traumatic.

He was in NSYNC.

Ewwwwww.

I'm really sorry for your experience :(

SERIOUSLY. There's tons of them, and it's both annoying and disheartening.

"I've been bullied, and this is not what it looks like."

Pinnies are a huge thing at my school (a totally bro/frat-boy kind of trend), and yesterday was the first day of class. On my way to class at 9 am, I saw this guy wearing a pinny that said, "Shut up and take a shot." YOU'RE COOL! Not. I just think shirts like that are tacky. Drinking is fun and all, but when shirts

WIN.

Off topic, but I approve of your avatar/icon ;)

I can't comprehend how this is going to make women be like, "Well, looks like we can't study the majors we want to study! Sooo...let's just give up on this whole 'women's rights' thing and stay at home and keep our mouths collectively shut."

...this makes me physically ill. Poor woman :\ What an asshole of a friend.

I saw this exchange on TV today. A few days ago, Nancy O'Dell was interviewing Obama for ET or whatever show she's on, and my mom made the same comment—that a lot of Americans DO get their news from such sources. For instance, my mom prefers Entertainment Tonight over CNN or the likes. I don't see it as a bad move.

Haha, wow that sounds kind of terrifying for your sister, actually! I would definitely like to talk to my parents about it, but I have a feeling my mom is going to be all "we can handle it ourselves/she'll be fine." Ugh.

That's true, I should probably do something like this.

Sure, but they're ADORABLE assholes :) That's all that really matters.

My little sister never does chores, and I hate how my parents let her get away with it. She's not a spoiled child necessarily...she has a great personality, she's kind and sweet and caring—not manipulative or anything. But she's 11 now, and the only chore-related responsibility she has is to just clean her room.

I love Betsey! I wore a Betsey Johnson dress to my prom and have a few of her bags :) I'm so upset that the Betsey Johnson store in my mall is closing down...it was such a cute little store.

Well, at Penn State, you have to be a recognized organization if you are Greek. If you're underground, you may be recognized by other sororities/fraternities as a functioning organization, so Omega Psi Phi might recognize them in the sense that they might have socials with them. I'm not sure about little sister
