wait, so if someone is accused of doing bad things, they can never be redeemed? regardless of how they conduct themselves in the future? or how they may have individually repented for it? I certainly hope nothing you’ve done in your past is even slightly wrong...glass houses and all...

We either believe in the possibility of redemption for all or redemption for none. I’d rather believe in the former even if sometimes it seems hopeless. As Bryan Stevenson says “Each of us is more than the worst thing we’ve ever done.”

I’m super stoked Marianne Williamson is becoming so well-known. Should she be POTUS? Don’t know. But her first 3 books changed my life, and A Course in Miracles is in my life because of her.

Shes so incredibly powerful it’s hard to believe she is able to stay in control sometimes but that is the mark of a true superstar.  Like a tiny little rocket lol.  I have no doubt next time we see her she’ll be nailing that floor routine

Now playing

IN HISTORY, y’all. She was spectacular, and I am thrilled to see it celebrated here.

What white people want to see at plantations:

A few years ago I visited a plantation that I had been to on a school field trip when I lived in the area. I was already acquainted with it’s history and mostly wanted to check out some architectural features that child-me wouldn’t have appreciated.

8) Socialism-Related Economic Risk. We have to watch out that if Bernie/Liz are elected president and democrats have control of the house and senate, you can count on a stock market crash. Investors will be spooked by the incoming tax hikes and policy changes that would directly affect their money if left in the

The people who get frustrated about having to pick up the slack for parents are just as annoyed with their management for making that the norm rather than the exception. It shouldn’t be the norm in both the private and public sectors, but it is.

HR Professional here, and I’m going to be a downer (as usual). There’s a lot of politics at the level that she’s talking. I doubt very much she’s midlevel professional.

For all the average Janes that are expecting or trying to get pregnant, I cannot stress enough to document every thing related to your performance and

More power to her, then. She’s not the first and won’t be the last. If anything, she can bring eyes to serious issues that career politicians are too terrified to touch.

Politicians should fear disappointing feminist organizations, lest they lose their elected office.”

wow, I thought maybe the quoted article had it wrong, but no.

Guys, I wrote this on Deadspin already, but her name was Veronika Nikonova and not this... mess that was written in the report. She was a former child actress from Belarus (this story made headlines here in Russia last week).

Yeah, it was a poor decision. But why do I get the sense you feel some glee over it?

This. They were probably sent with ALL the orders, and it’s only the plus size people who assumed it was an insult directed at them.

Title seems a little disingenuous. Implies it’s limited to plus size orders, but provided no evidence that such is the case. Kind of a major distinction if only plus size orders are receiving diet bar as opposed to every order.
