Then you say “no thanks! I’ll do them later” and continue the conversation.

I got hives reading this post. I kept picturing the author wanting walls, clutter on the walls, clutter piling up against the walls.

can we write this person off as crazy and move on?

I wish we had had more gun control from the get go, but at this point, with so many guns already out there and so many bad people already in possession of guns, won’t gun control take a few decades to make a difference?

Jesus christ. Because she’s a pretty woman she’s a dumbass? No one who disagrees with you can be smart? This is pretty pathetic thinking.

And as far as the 8x as more incarcerate people, I def think we have a problem, but we’re at least 6 times more populous and have a much more diverse population with heterogeneous values.

Yeah, you’re right — a fundamental difference about the american judicial system is that we consider it far graver than most countries to incarcerate an innocent person. Obviously there is racial prejudice (not sure if you were talking about this) but that works within the system which is built on this principle.

Should she have gone to jail for that? I dont think she knows but I agree with you that she doesn’t seem sympathetic — but that’s not a crime. I personally think she’s autistic or something.

How is it possible that you think she is guilty? There is no evidence. Look at the other commenters talking about how the british tabloids made this into a case where there shouldn’t have been one.

Why? It’s interesting. The internet is unlimited. More information is better.

I don’t think so? I don’t actually like her or think she’s likeable even though we are both from the US. As soon as I looked into the case there’s a lot of info about how corrupt the Italian police are and how little evidence there is that connects Amanda to the actual murder?

The Kercher family seems insane for believing Knox is guilty, anyone who looks into the case aside from the media can see how corrupt the Italian police are and how little evidence there was for Amanda being involved, her strange personality aside.

That’s one of the worst things I’ve seen on the internet.

If they don’t call themselves an ally... but they also don’t act like an ally how are they full of shit? I’d rather have people do that than say they are feminists and do this in secret, which is why I don’t ask everyone to identify as a feminist or define it as “just believing people are equal” or some shit.

See, I don’t think that’s setting the bar low. I want him to have his own interests and work on improving the world where he is at. Feminism is not his struggle. It’s weird and inapropriate when men make feminism their struggle. Support your friends and loves ones when they do their thing, but not thinking too much

Thanks! This would have been really relevant to give the story context. It really shows how they are avoiding it this year.

Wasn’t there an eerily similar column on Deadspin/The Concourse that was a guy talking about what a good feminist he is “ironically”?

I literally said what you are saying, “very few jobs out there are people’s lifelong passions” so I don’t know what you are disagreeing with.

ha ha i have a feeling twitter just instituted an immediate “you gave your 2 weeks notice? we’re having security escort you from the building” policy.
